Caring for your Pen

With appropriate maintenance and care, your handcrafted pen is designed to endure for a lifetime.

Below are several essential guidelines to consider.

For cleaning your pen, a damp cloth suffices.

A wooden pen is a natural product that responds to its environment; therefore, it is imperative to observe specific considerations when caring for your wooden pen.

Wood has the capacity to absorb moisture, even when its surface appears nearly sealed. This absorption can lead to swelling and the potential for surface cracking. Consequently, it is advisable to refrain from using a wet cloth for cleaning and to avoid placing the pen in excessively humid environments, such as bathrooms or saunas, or exposing it to rain.

Furthermore, wood can contract, resulting in cracks. It is recommended to avoid leaving your pen in direct sunlight (e.g., on the dashboard or seat of a vehicle, on window ledges, or atop radiators or heaters).
