Guidelines for Proper Care of Your Bowl

Following usage, it is advisable to clean the bowl with a mild soap and warm water. Please refrain from allowing it to soak.

After cleaning, thoroughly dry the bowl with a clean towel and allow it to air dry completely before storing.

It is imperative that the bowl not be placed in a dishwasher.

For optimal maintenance, periodically apply a coat of soft beeswax, mineral oil, or walnut oil.

Please be advised that the use of vegetable oil, olive oil, or similar food oils may result in the bowl becoming sour or rancid over time.

This bowl is not suitable for use in a microwave or oven.

Indeed, each and every item is meticulously handcrafted by me in my dedicated woodshop, where I pour my passion and attention to detail into every piece.

From where do you procure your wood?

All the wood utilised in my work is expertly sourced locally from within the surrounding area. This includes high-quality timber from storm-felled trees and branches that have been naturally downed, as well as driftwood collected from the numerous picturesque nearby beaches. Additionally, I incorporate wood that has been responsibly removed by others for various safety considerations, wood received as thoughtful gifts from friends or family, and recycled materials from discarded or broken furniture and pallets, which are either upcycled into new creations or recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
